When exporting a meta data table to excel to make important modifications (such as adding another specific column that you can't do directly in cadasio) that would be impossible or too complicated to do in cadasio or solidworks, ensure when importing that metadata table back into cadasio that it doesn't become a 'dumb' table and loses it's connection with the assembly so when you click a row in the table it still highlights the corresponding part in the assemby. Not sure if this is possible or not but worth asking anyway
